Introduction of Regulated Area Bareilly

Bareilly is a commissioner headquarter in northern indian state of uttar pradesh, Located on the Ramganga. The city is also known by the name “Bans Bareilly” and “Nath Nagri. NH24, NH74, SH33 and SH37 crosses the city connecting Lucknow,Pilibhit, Aligarh and Kathgodam respectively. Bareilly Junction is an important station of northern railways.

For the planned development of the town, Govt of Uttar Pradesh has notified the area as Bareilly Regulated Area by order no. 4190-K/37-89 N.K.V. 71 dated 01st November 1971covering Nagar Palika area and adjoining 198 revenue villages. Further this area is declared as Bareilly Development Area through the order no 1030/37-2-72 D.A./76 dated 19th April, 1977. The master plan – 2021 is prepared for the development area keeping the base as 14.21 lacs projected population which is approved by the govt order no 5962/8-3-2009-22 maha/2008 dated 08th January 2010.
