General Introduction

Sandila town is the headquarter of Sandila tehsil in Hardoi district of U.P. The town is situated at the distance of 56 Km far from the state Capital Lucknow and 55 Km far from the district headquarter of Hardoi at Lucknow-Hardoi State Highway-25.It is well connected with the Lucknow, Hardoi, Unnao, Sitapur and other important district by the railways and roads. Sitapur district in north, unnao district in south, Lucknow district in east and tehsil Bilgram of district Hardoi situated in the west direction of the tehsil Sandila.

Regulated area Sandila

To reugulate the uncontrolled and unplanned development in nagar palika parisad Sandila and its surrounding areas, Sandila regulated area was notified by the Awas Anubhag-3 Government Order No. 2498/9-vk-3-97-7 vkj-,-/95 Lucknow Dated 31st March, 1998, comprising Sandila Nagar Palika Parishad and its surrounding 12 revenue villages.
