Introduction of Regulated Area Budaun

Budaun is a developing city of Bareilly commissinery in western uttar pradesh. It is very holy place in India and located near holy river Ganga. It is developing as a commercial as well as industrial centre. It is very well connected with Bareilly, Mathura, and Aligarh etc. The city is 280 kms from state capital Lucknow, 48 kms from Bareilly and 142 kms from Aligarh. NH23 and NH43 which goes from Bareilly to Kasganj and Chandausi to farrukhabad respectively, passes through the city. Also it is an important station of east northern railways. It lies on kathgodam-agra rail line.

For the planned development of the town, Govt of Uttar Pradesh has notified the area as Budaun Regulated Area by order no. 2157/37-3-86-3 N.K.V.-82 ,dated 08th December 1986 and 2053/9-A-3-93-3-N.K.V.-82 dated 07th June 1993 . Further the master plan – 2011 is prepared for the regulated area keeping the base as 2.0 lacs projected population which is approved by the govt order no 3861/9-AA-3-9-20 Maha/97, dated 04th April 1998.
