Introduction of Regulated Area Anandnagar (Maharajganj)

Anandnagar is situated at Maharajganj District of India. Anandnagar is connected to NH 29 and located at 45 k.m. from Gorakhpur and 40 k.m. from Siddharthnagar. Due to it’s location near Indo – Nepal border in the low land (Tarai belt) of Himalya, wheather is cold in winter. The town is named after Seth Anandram Jaipuriya. There was an old sugar mill which came into operation in year 1935 and closed down in year 1995. There is famous Lehada Devi temple situated in the town where pilgrims come to visit Devi from all over India.
